Flight Training Scholarships

One of the most common questions flight students have is, “Where can I find scholarships?

This is far from a complete list, but it’s a start. If you search the Internet, I’m sure you could turn up more. (If you find scholarships that are less common, then it means that you will be competing against fewer people.)

As you may know, one of the best tips for getting scholarships is to show that you participate in leadership activities and volunteering. It also helps to get involved with the organizations offering the scholarships. Then they will be more likely to pick you over someone who is less involved.

Another source of scholarships is the United Aviate Program.  It is quickly becoming one of the most prestigious programs in the country. They offer scholarships to pay for the private pilot licenses of minorities and women.
